Carta
Dear famidamly.
This last week lets see what happened... oh yeah my birthday! and hmmmmm not too much else. But wait this is a little bit interesting we .. . yeah nothing. let's say we teach lots of lesson, and we missed the sacrament. so all the bad things I did for my birthday still are hanging in there jaja. But to be honest it has been great, the only downer is that i've got a new comp. and it's not that he's bad, it's that he just isn’t elder mallo because elder mallo was fantastic, and it's tough for people to replace that kind of strange Argentinian weirdness (just a side note I fall really well with the Argentinians just saying I think I will vote for their team. For the world cup. Which surprisingly is a big deal.)
Anyway, this week we finally got luis baptized, and he is so funny because before his baptism we used to get stuck in this prove that the bible say Thomas monson has the priesthood. and it just took hours and it got really messy, but now he is making visits with us, assisting seminary, and he even bore his testimony this last Sunday. Which was a challenge because he's got stage fright and elder lucas from the stand invited him to give his testimony not something I would have done, but boy was it powerful. and then the other elders in our ward elder smith and panta got their investigator omar to bare his testimony the same way. elder panta invited omar to share, he went up shared his testimony and then sat down and elder panta finished his. haha it was nuts because all the members were shocked.
But that’s about it. we are fresh out of investigators that are progressing, so its back to the knocking and contacting for us boo but I actually like it, so don’t tell anyone.
Anyway act well and don’t get into any trouble
Hasta el proximo

oh the crazy things that happen in the mission life.
so i'm here in the cabina super hurried because i have only 10 minutes, and there is so much to tell that it's really going to be crazy. sooo
where to start
elder mallo was sent to tumbes, and i am still here. my new comp is black. haha but he's from equador, so it's all good. i have almost mastered brownies without a recipe. and i'm still sweating like crazy. also we made pizza which was awesome. haha i have a really weird thing about being in the kitchen. our area is doing awesome and we have now baptized 3 people plus omar from the other elders. and i am thinking that the last days of being a teenager is about the worst thing that has ever passed me by. but it's all right. i'm doing just fine.
to be honest i'm not sure what scares me more: having more than a year in the mission or being 20. probably being 20 haha
so spiritual thought of the day is that to be honest a lot of the time we need to just get in there and work. we need to be valient and we need to be strong and we need to not let others take advantage of us. (really important)
I love you all and thank you all for your letters and for most of all remembering my special day. just remember it's all mine and i want a shrine to pay homage to me. haha jk. that's creepy. i am so grateful to have this time to work for God cause i figure it will pay off super well. haha.
hmmm we baptized luis this last week the kid had to convince his mom to let us baptize him, but it was super cool to see his desires. and he's going to come with us tomorrow to teach haha super awesome.
les amo muchísimo y les cuento mas en una semana de mañana

March 17
so this week flew by literally. i have a ton of thoughts, but they are just going to fall out. so i'm just going to say them. spànish has a cool word for elder its anciano. it means old, so that's why i think they just left it elder haha.
the best story of this week was well there were 2:
1 during a baptism the sister of the david who was getting baptized sang a special number, but what's funny is that when she started everyone started to sing with her. and it gets worse the people noticed that they shouldn't sing, so almost everyone stopped. well almost, one of the older members of the group kept singing for 2 verses haha and one of the other missionaries was practically hitting him to get him to stop, but we learned after that he can´t feel his bones. so haha it just made me laugh.
2. this week a 70 de area came to our stake conference with our mission president and gave a fantastic speech about how the members should give references to the missionaries and gave instructions to the missionaries that at every meal they should ask for references. so as we got to shake hands with him after the meeting the stake president who lives in our area says i have a reference, and i was like sweet will come to eat in your house tomorrow. and the 70 says no no no no . .. me (thinking to myself ah man and pres is here too) take out your agenda and ask for his name. and i got really embarrassed jajajaja don't think that well. remember for our next interview
to be honest i've been having a blast. we just keep on doing what we do, but i have realized that comps make all the difference.
oh and another crazy story. i bought a portable oven, so we make cookies and cakes. send me a fudge brownie recipe because i don't want to keep buying mixes. they're killing my budget haha. i love you all and hope that yall have a killer week
