no pics and definately no chicks.

so this week was a good one. we had interviews with the president. I really like him. he has a super good personality (in reference more than anything tooooo the fact that he gets teenagers and understands the inability for latinos to be 100% obedient.) that more than anything has caused me the most grief, but his advice was just worry about you and help them along. you really can´t do more that. and for the pictures i'm sitting at a computer that doesn´t have a usb port that hasn´t lost its precious life, so the wonderfully awful pìctures i took won´t reach you until next week. and plus we went to the beach today how wonderful. the weather here is a nice crispy hot mixed in with some sweat and a few cloudy days. it's actually more humid here than i would have thought. i sweat all the time. it´s awful. but it's cool. just the week after i got your package, i found where to buy peanut butter and coco powder. haha it's justice, but the peanut butter is really expensive or so i have been told. we played beach soccer which is actually really fun. and just chilled for a few hours, which i feel like is a real great way to make the other 6 days of the week hurt more cause we always have things to do . but a lot of missionaries wouldn´t make it if they didn´t have that time to relax. as for me i am just learning to be content with where i am. i spent almost all my time in the mtc trying to get to peru and almost all of my time in peru wanting to speed up the time. but i realize that i might never get back. i think it helps give us perspective when we see missionaries going home. to some it makes them trunky, but to me i am really appreciative that i still have a long time to serve. although it's hard. the other thing is when i am done, i will be done and go home and work on something else.

I didn´t know you bought another car. . .  thats cool. but it seems that you now have 3 cars in the shop and two more to boot. sorry that your kids are all really hard on the equipment so to speak. so news from the mish. what would really help us out is prayers for new investigadores or better yet lessons with investigators. we are doing all we can to teach, but sometimes we need a little direction, and one thing i am learning daily is to rely more on the spirit. yes this is something hard for me. but yeah.

this last week was quick. at the church stake conference they broadcasted a live meeting from slc with elder bednar and elder scott and some 70 i don´t remember to all of peru. and they gave some of the most powerful talks i have ever barely understood. hahaha they are really spiritual and guided people. they talked a lot about the arrepentimiento and the jovenes in perú that what we need is the youth of today to take over and be the leaders and parents of tomorrow. really awesome stuff. anyway. i didn´t know that having 100 stakes was a really big deal, but apparently it is. peru is one of 5 nations to have 100 stakes i think, but the work here is progressing one family at a time.

the sad new: we pretty much lost one of our best investigatores this week be cause she is having problemas with her parejo. i think they are in a down ward spiral. what's really sad is it wasn´t until we set a date for their baptism that the problems started. super sad stuff but we move on.

we are really working this week for lessons with members and lessons with new investigadores because about all we do is visit less actives and we really want to drop the less part. but we have had some success we have about 3 families that are more or less attending church. which is awesome and hopefully they will bring their families.
i have included a screen shot as an explanation for why i spell things so wrong. any way, lots of love and protection.
