hey every body.

how's it going?  things down here are nice and hot. so hot in fact that i sleep with a fan on all night. i hope you like the pics of the bathroom of the elders of cerro mocho. it was hilarious. we had divisions, and it was quite a blast. Elder toolson and Elder zevallos live in a house chapel, and it's pretty big. but their bathroom is classic peru. it's out back and is what i would call macgyvered plumbing. it's funny how quickly peru can change from as modern as the us to 3rd world and then back again. but i love it all.

is it just me or are the weeks passing even faster? it seems like the last 6 weeks flew by cause my comp is almost done with his training. but i guess i sort of got lucky because he already had 6 weeks of training when i arrived, but it sort of sucked because he didn't give me any respect. and for that we have had a few fights. but we be good now. to be honest the mission seems like a dream: you leave the door and then you come back just as fast as you left, but it's night already. i don't know how to explain it. it really feels like i will be writing you in about 3 minutes and the date will be the 18th. but i guess that's not so bad.

new phrases for you are the following:
walk over there- anda por alla it means get out of here or vete for people that speak spanish.
the other is:
nothing happens- no pasa nada it means something like i have no idea haha they use it to say something is uncool or crappy.

i decided that querecotillo is an oasis in the middle of the desert.

this week we visited a schizophrenic and that was pretty wild.
it went like this: obama is an evil black spirit. what's happening with your country? it's run by an evil black spirit
bless my tv. its not working well. can you bless my newspaper?

and later as we were finishing up he blessed us to become catholics again. haha elder julcapoma and i didn't say amen.

not a really great story, i know, but it just reminds me that there are tons of really crazy people in the world.

i was told the reason mosquitoes bite me so much is that i have sangre gringa. made me laugh pretty hard.

but really not too much has happened. even though they tell us they are speeding up the work. but i raise the question is it weird to have a notebook that is for other missionaries to sign or am i just weird...

any way i send my love and eat lots of rice
chau elder preece

que la fuerza te acompañe

there are not words to describe that bathroom hahaha
