This week has been one of the funniest and most busiest mixed with the grippa (flu—really sick) and at the same time one of the most stressful and filled with miricles.
To tell the real story would be really boring, and you'd probably die from boredom. so i'll tell the short one instead
This week started early, and I didn’t exactly get a lot of sleep the night before because I went to bed late. I can't say why because talking about past transgressions is taboo.
Anyway i'm here in san bernardo 1. it’s nice and filled with tons and tons of sand. But it’s a good change i'm a little tired of pure green. it's good to see peru for how she is hot hot dirt in the eyes more hot. Hahaha
I really like the ward. it's great we actually have people attending! it's perhaps the greatest things I have ever seen. I almost cried Sunday. Buuuuuuut I didn’t because I had to speak haha. I shared a short and hopefully powerful message about how many people are sharing things about the mormons and what are the mormons doing . .. nothing down here we hear a lot of crazy stuff about us and to be honest “it’s a bunch of lies man”
But we just keep working. share those good words of wisdom to the drinkers and the message about Jesus to the rest.
One of my favorite things about san bernardo is we actually have investigators. we are teaching 6 killer people luis, Antonio, david, Isaac, Alexander, and one that I forgot, I think she's named casandra. But anyway I'm so excited and my comp is too because he's been working here for 5 months and wants some of the rewards. Haha.
My comp is literally the best ever. Obedient, loves the people, works hard, studies, there's only one bad thing . . . . He´s seen NACHO LIBRE hahaha and he told me yesterday “i'm so sick and tired of all this rice I want to eat meeeeeeaaaat” in English to imagine my surprise. Haha it's been awesome.
Other than my awesome comp they downgraded me to leader of the District yeah its rough because i've got elder gaona the trunky Mexican who is always cracking jokes. my comp who is a crazy as I am. and elder smith and elder panta and elder cardenas a gringo and two with little time in the mission. But we be kicking and i'll finally get trained Wednesday hahaha it will be great because I finally understand what I was supposed to be doing in the first place.
Observation: every latin in the world has seen dragon ball z. anybody know why?
Also more serious question who is gazelem from alma 37 23?
Also if y'all could sent me fotos of our ancestor and family to the 4 gen with a short story about their life and what they liked to do. that would be great because we have to fill out little booklets or pres is going to quemarnos o to say it in English burn us.
