lots of love from 2015 elder preece what what.

not sure you'll ever feel the same way about peru as me but i understand why. when someone is in a place for 2 years you become a part of it. as a missionary i am about 99 % peruvian jajaja.

this last week we ate dinner with pres. quiroga from the branch. he's awesome very excited about working to expand the branch, which is awesome we had pizza, turkey, ice cream, canned peaches. we were stuffed. that was christmas eve. christmas day we ate a type of cebiche that is approved in the mission. more or less. it's cooked so we figured it counts. it was squid with other types of sea life that i couldn't recognize with lots of lemon that was great. christmas here is a huge celebration that leaves about everybody drunk or sleeping soooo the afternoon was fun, but better yet was new years. we had a ton of fun for new years.we burnt a viejo or the old year. it's a really fun peruvian tradition. each year they make a manikin which represents the last year. they load it full of explosives and paja which is like straw i guess and then the light her on fire. jaja we made one. it's a great time. you'll see him in the fotos jajaja. we slept early and woke up at 1 to see the craziness and i'll say they put up quite a fight on the fireworks scheme. it was cool to see.  

we went fishing today that was crazy btw i feel like we've really been downing the fishing scheme. all you need to fish is that plasiky wire and a hook and the hook doesn't even need a hole. i caught two small cachudos but the rest of the group didn't get anything jajaja it's a trick but to be honest i liked it. look out lake powell here i come.  then we went to the beach colàn. it's a nice touristy beach that's even got a pretty catholic temple. we got a few pics. the beach had a funny thing lots of sea snails and lots of seashells like what you find at lake powell but bigger i saved you a bunch if you want them jaja i really love that part about paita. oh 

the best story of the week i'm becoming dad. so we we were teaching this lady right and about 5 mins in the member we brought starts to nod off and then 6 mins in i start to nod off and at 10 mins my comp says well here's a pamphlet well stop by later jajajaja and the other was christmas day we stayed up talking until 3 slept until 4 and then we went and peeled chickens until 7 we started studding at 8 and both of us died jajaja super funny. i've been really tired lately and sleeping in lessons a lot . s

we caroled christmas eve. to a that was fun especially when we sang rudolph in english.
