weekly letter

and also a few other things. thomas paine once said that what we obtain too easily we esteem too lightly. i think that sums up why people don't receive answers to their questions because they don't ask diligently. or read or got to church obviously.

this week we got to baptize again, which was awesome! i love it when we get to baptize a bunch. my permanent retainer is still being a pain in the mouth, but it's alright. 

as i  have been listening to general conference talks... i listened to one that was really good and he talks about the greatest experiences of his life, and he says the first one that he managed to get himself born. and he's been pretty pleased with that ever since. jaja

this week i think i just want to be grateful for the chance i have to make mistakes and live. i think i forget too often how awesome everything is and especially how as mormons, we have literally everything we need. i love this religion. it's freaking awesome. even though as missionaries we only take part of a small bit of it. 

i honestly don't know what to tell ya. i'm just working like crazy; there are things that i haven't been doing that i should. and i'm sure there are things that i should be doing that i have forgotten. but that's okay. that's why we have repentance. to be honest i'm really drawing a blank. i just want you all to know that i love you and that i'm doing everything i can to help the people down here. 

so today is independence day happy 28 jaja down here they all get the day off and we spent the morning cleaning the church and then we played soccer like crazy. and a little bit of volley which was awesome. but to be honest they don't do anything like us, but that's alright. 

This week i have learned more than anything of my love for the scriptures i finished the bom agian but in Spanish and that was awesome! i'm going to read it in english for a change. and i am going to finish the new testament and start on the d and c and then take out the liahonas. and this week i have had a great sense of closeness to the spirit and realized how much i use it in making decisions. and that's something that comforts me. and to be honest it's been one of the things that i have wanted to have in my whole life--the ability to hear and understand the spirit.

If you could do one thing to brighten up the world of others that would be awesome.
